Off topic - How to add keyboard shortcut to macro in your excel sheet?



Following are the easy steps to add a keyboard short cut to you vba/macro in an excel sheet:
1. Open the excel sheet
2. Go to View - menu
3. Click on Macros
4. Click on View Macros    

5. Enter the macro name in the box and click on Options

6. Enter the keyboard shortcut that you want to use for this macro to run in the Shortcut Key   "Ctrl + " box and provide description (optional) and click on OK.


               
 That's it. Your now your keyboard shortcut to run the macro in excel file is ready. Whenever you would like to run the macro in the excel file, all that you have to do it press the shortcut key along with the Control (Ctrl) button.
